Vidam

Vidam is a graduate communication designer, visual artist, and illustrator who has been living in Berlin for over 20 years. He is part of the street art crew THE WEIRD, and his name means “cheerful” in Hungarian. In recent years, he has developed his own distinctive visual language, which he playfully calls “cubist pop surrealism.” The subject matter of his oeuvre primarily revolves around diary-like illustrated experiences from his own life. His main sources of inspiration are remarkable personal moments, life with his child, contemporary society, rave culture, and the occasional escape into nature. In addition to his work as a painter and muralist, he also creates illustrations for international clients. His second great passion is music! He loves celebrating electronic dance music, a perfect contrast to his life as an urban artist and illustrator.
