Cone The Weird

Cone The Weird, born in Munich and now based in Saarbrücken, began his journey with graffiti in 1993. Over three decades, he has refined a distinctive visual language rooted in urban art, meticulous ink drawing and mural painting. While his earlier work was defined by character design and the deformation of the human form, his focus has recently evolved toward fragmented compositions and detailed object studies.

His process follows a principle of visual sampling: analog motifs are broken down, recontextualized, and reassembled into collage-like arrangements. Whether on paper or on walls, his work is characterized by precise lines, dense hatching, and a symbolic depth that invites personal interpretation.

Beyond his studio practice, Cone The Weird’s interdisciplinary approach is reflected in his 30-year history as a DJ and his recent guest professorship at the HBK Saar (2022–2024). His projects and murals continue to take him across many countries.
